Log Line: Shangri-LA follows a group of diverse friends witnessing life unfold on the streets of Los Angeles, exposing an infamous side of LA that only the locals know and many only dream of, in a place where rich and poor stand side by side but only the strong survive and stay.

Summary: It’s a world where something as simple as being from a certain area code will get you funny looks, a place where the most beautiful people in the universe come to become rich and famous. Where it’s about what you have or what you do, not who you are. A person can do anything, be anywhere, follow any road and have the access to do so. People take chances and lose their lives every second. Some last... most don't. There are seldom groups of people you run across, thought not to exist... the locals. This is a show about a group of eccentrics living in the struggle as they watch people come in and out of their lives. Some stay and make a difference others take advantage and cause destruction in their path. It's not all fun and games in the city of angels where people are imported and exported daily. The world is invited to follow this group through the trials and tribulations, joy and excitement; hard times and hard parties they experience, that make it a phenomenal to conceive the reality they live in.

Synopsis: Our journey takes us on ride along-side brothers Hersh and Judah, complete opposites, but one person in the same. Hersh a lawyer walks a straight line while Judah Ray a streetwise entrepreneur hustles his way to the top. Along with long time friends Robel, the wandering surf punk destined to try and re-live the fame he once knew and enjoyed. Eric the artistic Hollywood cat with more sides to his story then a dice. Ra the porn producer always looking for the next hot trot and Chang the import trying to make his way along side his American friends. And last but not least the group’s sidekick Stevie, a beautifully exotic but hard to catch young woman, they thrive and strive in a city known as La LA land and the City of Angels. This group will show how the real deal lives in this city of movie moments.

Shangri-LA An imaginary remote paradise on earth... welcome to LA. Character Breakdowns: Character 1 – JUDAH RAY WOLFBERG (22) Russian, Italian and Jewish, Auburn hair, Hazel eyes, strong shoulders, around 5' 10" A man who believes in his word over a deal, casting aside his family and their way, he sought the root of the self-made man and keeps to his beliefs. Nightclubs, drugs and start up companies are his ways of making a living. Being a ladies man and a true people pleaser holds him back from making his dreams reality. When presented with advice he brushes it off and tries to avoid confrontation. He is a great mind and soul lost in a corrupt world of making life work. His aspiration is to be legit, respected, and liked for who he truly is. Character 2 – HERSH WOLFBERG (24) Russian, Italian and Jewish, Dirty Blond, Blue eyes, Curly hair, strong shoulders, around 6' Strait edge and full of life, he does no drugs or drink, but ever much the party monster. He knows how to have a good time and lives it up. Which is why he gives no slack to his brother. He is hard on Judah and tries to pound the "right way" in every chance he gets. He is the oldest of the group and acts as a guardian angel, though there are times he gets fed up and he has an anger problem. He is starting his own company and has visions of a better life. Character 3 – ROBEL BLACKBURN (21) African American, Light eyes, Dark Skin, lanky but built, around 6' 1" Once the face for American extreme sports until an injury ended his career he frequents the beach skate scene and he is that guy you see at every club. He is opening a surf n’ skate shop in Venice Beach so that he may live vicariously through the young skate and surf punks around the area. After his injury he put down the boards and picked up the bottle but one day dreams of becoming the man he used to be. He has a family at a young age and deals with life on life’s terms because of the fact. Character 4 – ANTHONY EDWARDS (22) Latino, different looking face, freckled, good looking, medium build/frumpy, around 5' 10" A punk in the attitude way of things he is against the system. A graffiti writer, artist, poet but all around street thug, his attitude is harsh and blunt. He has no qualm with speaking his true thoughts no matter how negative or shocking they are. Even confrontational at times he butts heads almost everywhere he goes. Over the “LA scene” but seeking a life still roams all around LA looking for cool stuff to do, ending up in weird, and some times the wrong, type of places. An true dark LA attitude but he has heart. Character 5 - CHANG (20) Film maker Chinese/Japanese, chiseled face, around 5' 4" Egotistical and proud of it he hails from Japan with a Chinese father and Japanese mother. His desire is to be as American as he can. He loves film. He was raised and taught English mostly from Hollywood film, and now has came to LA for fame and fortune as an Entertainer... behind the scenes. He is a film producer on the hunt for his big project and always carrying a camera. He also dabbles in Fashion and loves American hip-hop, graffiti, and anything pop-culture. He wants to be famous and takes any opportunity he can at making it. Character 6 – RAHIM “RA” ARLEN (23) Porn Middle Eastern, dreadlocks, tall around 6' 2" Born in Egypt, Ra came to the United States with his family at age of 7. Since that time he has been working very hard to take care of his family. He has a solid foothold on adult entertainment where his company RAw Films produces and markets Porno and websites. A very arrogant and proud man he is always arguing with someone about anything, even things he has no idea about. A bit of a sleaze-bag with the ladies he is always obnoxious and perverse. He has a drug and sex habit that are out of control. Character 7 - Stephanie AKA STEVIE (22) Typical LA girl with but with a soul and respect for herself around 5'7" A strong-minded girl she met the crew at Hollywood High after problems with a boyfriend in the Valley turned ugly and she had to switch schools. After she arrived she got well known for being a beautiful girl not to mess with. Not looking for a boy friend she has her "men" she rolls with. When they hang out people expect Stevie to be a guy until she arrives in all her radiance. She is strong minded, independent and resourceful. She wants to start a fashion line and become one of Hollywood’s next “it” girls.
